Setapak! 2025 Creates a Better Place to Learn and Dream in Way Lunik

Setapak! 2025, which was initiated by the Australian Indonesian Students Association (PPIA) at the University of Melbourne, was again implemented as a form of real contribution to the education of children in Indonesia. This year, Setapak! 2025 focuses on developing SDN Way 1 Lunik which is located in Way Lunik, Bandar Lampung.

Implementation of Footsteps! 2025 received support from various parties, one of which was the Indonesian Building Inspiration Foundation (YIIM) supported by PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT) which acted as an activity sponsor. Through this support, a series of activities can be carried out over three days, including renovation of school facilities, organizing interactive learning, as well as providing equipment and learning support needs for students.

Around 180 children participated in the learning program, with activities in the form of educational games, English language learning, as well as giving bags containing stationery and appreciation gifts. During the activity, children also receive daily consumption of drinking water and snacks to support comfortable learning.

Apart from that, as many as 26 volunteers were directly involved in implementing the activities. Sponsor support makes it possible for volunteers’ operational needs to be met, including transportation, accommodation, food and activity equipment, so that the entire series of programs can run smoothly.

Take a step! 2025 is proof that collaboration between the student community, social foundations and business partners can bring about real change. More than just a program, Setapak! is a small, meaningful step in building a more appropriate, inclusive and sustainable learning environment, so that every child has the same opportunity to dream and grow.

Because from one simple step, a better future can begin.

Salam Inspirasi!
