Under the umbrella of the <strong>MATA (Skilled and Empowered Community)<\/strong> program within the <strong>Community Empowerment<\/strong> pillar, YIIM held a two-day <strong>Perfume Making Training<\/strong> on Wednesday\u2013Thursday, September 9\u201310, 2026, at the YIIM Office in Jakarta.<\/p>\n<p>The MATA program was specially designed by YIIM to equip underprivileged communities, aspiring entrepreneurs, and the general public with practical skills possessing high economic value. The personal care and fragrance industry, which continues to experience robust growth, is recognized as a promising business opportunity that can be cultivated from a home-based scale.<\/p>\n<p>The event was officially opened by the <strong>Secretary of YIIM, Diantini Rahayu<\/strong>. In her opening remarks, she highlighted the significance of equipping participants with technical hard skills accompanied by an independent entrepreneurial spirit, enabling communities to remain competitive and sustain their household economies.<\/p>\n<h3>High Enthusiasm and Hands-On Practice<\/h3>\n<p>The workshop was guided directly by lead trainer <strong>Susgiarti<\/strong>, assisted by co-trainer <strong>Dewi<\/strong>. Over the course of two days, participants were provided with comprehensive instruction ranging from scent family identification, formulation techniques, blending ratios, to packaging and marketing strategies for perfume products.<\/p>\n<p>Participant enthusiasm was reflected in their active engagement throughout each practical session. On the first day (September 9), the training was attended by <strong>12 participants<\/strong>. On the second day (September 10), enthusiasm further intensified with the attendance of <strong>15 participants<\/strong> who engaged in direct, hands-on perfume formulation.<\/p>\n<h3>Participant Appreciation<\/h3>\n<p>The positive impact of the training was directly felt by the participants. One of the participants, <strong>Mr. Eko<\/strong>, expressed his deep appreciation for the initiative held by YIIM.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><em>&#8220;The program is truly wonderful and definitely
