The Indonesia Building Inspiration Foundation (YIIM) held an event to celebrate 11 years of service in the field of community empowerment on Thursday, June 19 2025, at the Kelimutu Hall, Sotis Hotel, Jakarta. This event also became an important momentum for the Foundation by holding a Farewell to the Chairman of the Foundation, as a form of leadership regeneration in continuing the foundation’s vision and mission.

This celebration carries the theme “11 Years of Inspiration”, which reflects the spirit of collaboration and consistency of the foundation in assisting the community through the pillar programs of Empowerment, Education, Social Humanity and Social Religion and the Environment. For more than a decade, YIIM has reached more than 100,000 beneficiaries throughout Indonesia.

This event was attended by the founder, board of trustees, supervisors, donors, strategic partners, volunteers and beneficiaries. In his speech, the Chairman of the Foundation for the 2019-2024 period, Mr Chrisbiantoro, expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the togetherness during his term of office. He officially handed over the baton of leadership to the elected Chairman of the Foundation for the 2025-2030 period, Mr Normansyah Kusuma.

“This 11 year journey has been full of challenges and learning. I believe, with new leadership, YIIM will continue to grow and have a wider impact,” said Mr. Chrisbiantoro in his speech.

Mr Normansyah, in his first speech emphasized the importance of commitment to continue, strengthen and adapt the foundation’s steps so that it remains relevant and impactful amidst the challenges of the times. “Together with the team, I will maintain the spirit of mutual cooperation and integrity which has been the main foundation of YIIM,” he said.

The series of events was filled with tumpeng cutting, the launch of perfume souvenir products resulting from the 2024 Perfume Training alumni training by Andi Yogie Supardi and ended with a group photo. A warm and emotional atmosphere colored the moment of farewell and welcoming of the new chairman, accompanied by a video of the foundation’s 11 year journey.

This event is expected to be a new starting point in strengthening the foundation’s commitment to continue to be an inspiration to build the nation.
