Education on ecosystem conservation and climate change mitigation, procurement of productive tree and mangrove saplings, community collaborative planting drives, and periodic sapling survival rate monitoring.

Expected Outcomes

Protection of coastal zones against sea erosion, restored biodiversity and green ecosystems, and enhanced natural carbon sequestration.

Universitas Brawijaya Apatte62 team with an energy-efficient vehicle

The Indonesia Building Inspiration Foundation (YIIM), supported by PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT) (Insight IM), through the environmental conservation pillar provides support to prevent global warming through research and development of energy efficient and environmentally friendly vehicles to the Brawijaya University Appatte62 Team. The Apatte62 team is an energy-efficient car research team that develops vehicles with environmentally friendly fuel to save the environment in the future from various kinds of emissions that can cause global warming.

In 2025 the Apatte62 Team will take part in the Energy Saving Car Contest (KMHE) held by the Directorate of Learning and Student Affairs, Directorate General of Higher Education, Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology. The implementation of KMHE 2025 aims to increase students’ abilities, creativity and innovation in the fields of design, development and construction of energy-efficient cars. On October 23 2025, 25 people consisting of the core team, media team, support team, and supervisors departed for the KMHE 2025 activities. The Apatte62 team succeeded in making achievements in the Diesel Internal Combustion Motor (MPD) Prototype Category: 2nd Place – Apatte62 Brawijaya Team-2 – Brawijaya University and the Urban Concept Category of Gasoline Internal Combustion Motor (MPD) Class: 2nd Place – Apatte62 Brawijaya Team-1 – Brawijaya University.

This environmental preservation program is a form of Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) or corporate social responsibility (CSR) from Insight IM to the community, part of Insight IM’s commitment to support innovation and research in the field of environmentally friendly technology and in line with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) number 13, namely

dealing with climate change.

YIIM is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping people from various circles, founded by social and humanitarian activists. To realize this goal, YIIM is open and open to all forms of cooperation from all groups so that it can be distributed to beneficiaries who need it.
